This movie, which features AJ Michalka, will be released on a 1-disk and a 2-disk Blu-Ray edition. I don't know of any special features to be included on the DVD, but the Blu-Ray will include an extensive production diary in 15 segments hosted by Peter Jackson and Philippa Boyens that follows the film’s shoot and post-production work on the visual effects according to dvdactive.
