Lady GaGa "Alejandro" Video Premiere

Well, this video was a disappointment. I was expecting this amazing GaGa masterpiece but what I got was a lazy video where GaGa let her back-up dancers do all the work. I like the American Idol performance better than the video. The first minute was wasted on anticipation & the plot (if there even is one) wasn't clearly stated. There is one part I like though. At one point, GaGa joins in dancing with her back-ups an that was the first thing that put a smile on my face. Compared to other singers boring videos of them just standing and singing, this one is good, but compared to GaGa's past videos, this one is simply a bump on a log.

This week on Idol Harry Connick Jr. perfomed "And I Love Her" & Lady GaGa performed "Alejandro" & she did so good! From her clothes (well.. lack of clothes) to her vocals, it was all outrageously amazing. As for the contestants, they weren't anywhere near GaGa standards. Crystal Bowersox.. well if I remembered a single note she sang, I'd tell you how I felt about it. Michael Lynch sang the same song as he has ever since the first time we saw him. (Wait, I was just informed that although he has sounded the same, he has in fact sang different songs. My bad) Casey James had me dashing to the bathroom to throw up. (I know what yall thought I was gonna say) Lee Dwyze sounds like he is a hardcore chain smoker going on 25 years. & poor Aaron Kelly.. although he did strain to hit each note, he did in fact do better than all of the other contestants, too bad he's gone. It's not a huge loss though. Below is the amazing "Alejandro" performance by Lady GaGa!

I love Lady GaGa, but I am so ready to see the "Telephone" music video. It continues to get pushed back, but this is said to be the final delay. It was set to premiere on Monday on Vivo, but it has been pushed back. Lady GaGa's official site will have the date shortly, and I will post it when I find out. In other news, Lady GaGa's tour is rumored to be put on a DVD in 3D. This is not a definite release, but GaGa told a fan at a meet & greet in Europe after a concert that she plans to release it. I really hope that rumor is true, but I can't be sure until I have official news. Also, the picture to your right is from the "Telephone" music video.

Lady GaGa V Magazine Photo Shoot

Lady GaGa and Cyndi Lauper are featured in this month's "V Magazine" where they will discuss their M.A.C Viva Glam Spring 2010 campaign. The campaign has raised more than $130 million for the M.A.C. AIDS fund. The photographer's name is Elle Von Unwerth, and GaGa says “It’s quite awkward to be talking about my passion about the AIDS crisis and the gay community while doing my makeup but…Viva Glam!” I think GaGa looks gorgeous, especially in the close-up picture below.
